Jessi Poem

Jessi texted me a poem today to put in a letter for my Grandma's Special Day. I thought that it was beautiful so I decided to post it. She didn't tell me a title for the poem yet though. Here it is.

When trudging along the dusty song
The monotony of right and wrong
Wears down your senses,
Death and decay
On your mind begin to play
Ringing clanging tall and bounding
Everywhere the alarm is sounding
Quick it is over
The Requiem dead
The dull sad drone of sin has fled
Then whistles now a Cheery tune
By the light of the Silver Moon
“Now ring the bells more loud and deep
God is not dead nor doth he sleep”
God is near and Kolobs nigh,
Do not miss your chance to fly

I am anal and wanted to get them all in chronological order. I as having a hard time though so some are and some aren't. Oh well I guess that is better reason to keep current!

Last Chance Dance!

Jessi was asked to the Last Chance Dance this morning. She went out to her car and it was full of balloons, candy, a rose, and an energy drink.

May Day

May Day

I know it is late but I thought I would post a few pictures from May Day. It started with the traditional May Day Community Dance on Friday night. The court (juniors) were presented and they danced the polka. They then danced the traditional parents dance. Later they did a floor show. The hand jive! It was great and they all looked so good. The MCYC (Mendon Community Youth Council) D.J.ed the dance. Tyson was on of the d.j.s. The next day was the may day celebration. It wass a great day! Jessi and Shonee looked beautiful as always. Justin ran a bake sale for MCJYC (Mendon Community Junior Youth Council) which he is the president of. They made $85. It is a good start.

Justin playing "Summer of 69"

Justin got a portable practice amp for his birthday. Here he is playing "Summer of 69". He isn't really playing and singing so fast. I don't know why the video is playing so fast. Any suggestions?
