Day 5 - Red Fish Lake

We went to Red Fish lake today. It was beautiful. We relaxed, rented some paddle boats, the kids caught fish with nets and soaked in the sun!Next we went to a fish hatchery. The salmon were spawning. It was amazing to see them make their way back to where they were born.

The evening was spent relaxing and playing games. The older kids went to the spring.

Day 4 - The lazy day

We decided to take it easy today. Todd, Shonee and Brecken went for an early morning hike Just hung around all day!

We met itchy. Jessi's friend.

Of course there was more gold panning!

Paul made an awesome steak dinner!

We went to the hot springs again!

And ended the day with a fire! Great day!

Day 3 in Idaho

Today we said goodbye to Tam and Brian and then went to the Challis hot springs. It was fun but the water was really hot!

Later we went back to the cabin and enjoyed the evening. The kids did more gold panning! They really had gold fever!

Day 2 Idaho!

We took the tram across the Salmon river to do some sight seeing. Everyone but Jessi. She was still sick :( This is how we got back and forth to our cars each trip we took.

First stop was the Yankee Fork Gold dredge. Where Paul got a flat tire.

Next we visited Custer. It was an old mining ghost town. Everyone loved panning for gold! We have better pictures that Tam took somewhere. I will update when I get my pictures organized.

I think this was called "Sunbeam dam" am I right Paul and Lisa? Help me out.

That evening Todd and the kids took a dip in the hot springs.
