Jessi Poem

Jessi texted me a poem today to put in a letter for my Grandma's Special Day. I thought that it was beautiful so I decided to post it. She didn't tell me a title for the poem yet though. Here it is.

When trudging along the dusty song
The monotony of right and wrong
Wears down your senses,
Death and decay
On your mind begin to play
Ringing clanging tall and bounding
Everywhere the alarm is sounding
Quick it is over
The Requiem dead
The dull sad drone of sin has fled
Then whistles now a Cheery tune
By the light of the Silver Moon
“Now ring the bells more loud and deep
God is not dead nor doth he sleep”
God is near and Kolobs nigh,
Do not miss your chance to fly
