Rise Against Concert

Jessi went to the Rise Against Concert with Zach on tuesday night. Before they left I gave all my motherly advise. Why why why is it so hard to take? I told them not to get in the middle of the croud yada yada yada. Well they didn't listen. They got on the second row. Jessi said she had her face smashed in the back of the person in front of her all night! She kept getting hit and smashed. It brings back the memory of the Def Leppard concert of 1988 I went to. She is now sore and bruised all over! Tall people just don't understand!

Ah yes, I've spent many concerts not being able to see a thing. That was the only time being short ever really bothered me! :)

Maybe it's part of the whole experience. Living at my house is a similar experience: heads getting smooshed, non-stop jumping all over the place, and who knows where all these bruises came from! But I get it all for free, and I can send kids to time out for raucus behavior. Can't beat that bargain!

that is have the fun! You get to hit people and no one gets upset! Reminds me of the time my room mate Lindsay got pulled into a mashpit at a Linkin Park concert. I had to punch my way in and carry her out. A big guy ended up lifting her right out of my arms and carrying her to the outside! Oh good times! Hope you had fun Jessi.
